A Dutchbird production (recording, mastering & covers)
Recorded with Justin's permission.
Don't abuse his trust in me and don't abuse my trust in you by selling this recording.
It's been 4 years since Justin came to my country, hence 4 years since I saw him.
Evidently he has grown musically. In 2007 his music made the impression on me of being very nervous,
he played in high speed without stopping. It's good to see he's calmer now. He admitted he had to play
Automobile Blues at a slower speed, as Lightning Hopkins intended it to be played.
He played a few songs of his new album, which will be released in late February 2012.
The songs have been recorded, at this moment the album is being mastered. Justin hasn't heard it yet, so
chances are you hear the songs earlier than he does.
His guitar play was affected by a thumb, which was missing 1/4 inch, as he informed us. No idea what happened.

song names
First - really nice recording, It's Sylvia I believe? Thanks to you.
Second really good show for fans and those new to Justin as well.
the two new songs that you dont have names for are "Am I that Lonely tonight?" and "Trying to Move on"
Also I would doubt that he will put Nobody Knows you when you're down and out on the next album - much more likely to see something like that released nest year on Record Store day as a b side to a new single...... thats just me guessing of course.
But really nice recording and 4 new tunes - and 2 really good covers - thanks again
